Two summer composting workshops coming up. The first one is this Sunday at Evergreen’s community garden on the City Hall lawn. The garden is extending the invitation to the community, so feel free to register even if you’re not a member. The second workshop will be held at the Kitsilano Community Garden. They recently installed new wood and wire compost bins there thanks to a grant from the Greenest City Neighbourhood Small Grants Program. The workshop will officially inaugurate the new system. The Kits Garden is also extending the invitation to all community gardeners along the railway tracks who would like to attend. Both workshops are free, but you must register.
